About

I’m Philip Jean-Pierre, a UX Strategist and practitioner with 20 years of experience leading research, design, and product strategy for high-stakes digital services. I specialize in translating complex user needs, operational constraints, and compliance requirements into clear, usable experiences that improve trust, completion, and real-world outcomes.

My work is rooted in evidence—research orchestration, strategic synthesis, journey mapping, usability testing, and high-fidelity prototyping—delivered in close partnership with product, engineering, and executive stakeholders. I’ve supported modernization initiatives across government and civic technology, including mobile-first service experiences, secure authentication workflows, and AI-enabled interface strategy designed to make insights actionable for real operators.

I’ve contributed to programs and teams supporting the Social Security Administration (SSA), the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), and organizations including Leidos, Lynker, and Manhattan Strategy Group. Much of my work is under NDA; representative artifacts and case study details are available upon request. Connect with me on LinkedIn (linkedin.com/in/philipjp-ux); I’m based in the United States (Silver Spring , MD area).
